was enacted to discourage sports books from conducting business
in the US, not to prosecute the consumer. This fact was
recognized in one case, in which the government prosecuted
a person placing bets with a sports book. The judge took
the purpose of the law into account and held against the
prosecutor because the bettor was not involved in the "sale
of a product or service for a fee involving third parties,"
i.e., customers and clients.
How

you use Windows 95 and the latest version of AOL, then VIP
will operate reliably. To ensure you have the latest version
of AOL software:
- Connect
to AOL
- Select
"Help" from the menu
- Select
"About AOL"
- The
latest version of AOL is "AOL5.0"
- To
check the release, hit CTRL-R (hold the CTRL key down
and press R)
To
upgrade AOL:
- Connect
to AOL
- Select
"Keyword"
- Type
"Upgrade" and press Enter
- Select
"Upgrade Now", there is no charge to upgrade.
